Big Wheel aims big in two days in the Lone Star State

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (March 9, 2026) - The “Big Wheel” Scotty Thiel and Greg Wheeler Motorsports are ready to tackle Texas, rejoining the Greatest Show On Dirt for the two-day World of Outlaws Cowtown Classic at Kennedale Speedway Park on Friday and Saturday, March 13-14. Thiel, fresh off of a World of Outlaws visit to the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama, will roll into the Lone Star State 16th in the WoO championship standings, still chasing his first podium performance of the year.
Speaking of Talladega, Thiel, ace of Greg Wheeler’s Scott Thiel Builders, Gibbsville Cheese, Flint Trucking, Professional Plating, Richards Well Drilling, Complete Water, No. 16C, finished 21st in the Dega Duel, commencing the 35-lapper from the exact same position.
“Things are clicking right along,” Thiel was quick to note. “Our program continues to improve. The results may not show, but we’re making gains and our confidence is growing. It’s not easy battling with the Outlaws, especially in areas where we may not have the extra experience. Regardless, we’ll work to put our notes to work this weekend and battle for a big result at Kennedale.”

Scotty Thiel and Greg Wheeler Motorsports will continue their 2026 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year campaign with the World of Outlaws Cowtown Classic at Kennedale Speedway Park in Kennedale, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, March 13-14.
